If you’re attending the IFGE 2008 conference and plan on blogging about, please let us know and we’ll link to you when we do a blog coverage roundup. If you’d like to be a guest blogger on the Newsblog and share some of your thoughts on the conference, also let us know!

Welcome to the IFGE 2008 Newsblog

This is the brand-new IFGE 2008 Newsblog: our way for the Media Team to communicate with you — the local and national news media, members of the blogsphere, and the general public.

We will be posting our press releases here, as well as daily blog posts highlighting the upcoming events of each coming day, links to pictures from conference events, and examples of news coverage about IFGE. Guest bloggers from the conference may also be drafted to give their views of the event.

But blogging isn’t just a broadcast medium; we want this to be an interactive site, for the time we’re active — post your questions or comments, whether you’re just a curious visitor, a reporter on a deadline, or even someone who really wanted to be here but couldn’t make it!
